Really, I have, but I still miss my sidebar! Anyone else wishing the handy little thing would be gifted back to us? Especially with all the traveling, trying to keep track of what is where, it would make it so much nicer.

*gets down on her knees, folds her hands, and looks up pleadingly*

Ben, please, I'm begging you, will you at least consider bringing it back?

One potential problem with adding a sidebar would be that the cities don't all have the same number of locations, so we'd need a layout that can accomodate 13-15 different locations. Might be a little tricky to get it to look ok in all cases.

Oh, but the results would be worth it!!!

And while we're making sidebar requests, can we have it so that equivalent places always have the same location?

What I mean by this is, if the bank in NYC is top right, for example, then could the Calligraphist in Shanghai be top right and the Postal Clerk in Delhi, and the Librarian in London?

Then, when I need to check writing, I can always go to the same location on the screen to click. I would like this a lot!

Will it be a fully stocked side bar with ice bucket and shot glasses? Sorry...I have no idea what a side bar is, it must have been long before my time. But if it's helpful bring it back!

i guess i'm alone on this but the absense of the side bar sped up the down loading of the map, i also would prefer the absense of it since i never used it and it seemed to take up space, but it seems i'm alone on this so go on with you polls

I would agree with James Lee, it does seem to load a lot faster. However, it would be hard to compare, the old side bar, also had the old icons on it. And the old icons (even those on the map) were by definition more to load.

I don't miss the sidebar that much. Its not that hard to find my way around.

If Ben were going to spend his time rebuilding the game, I'd vote for the branch offices' extra space for a file or to hang your hat. Has that idea been dropped completely?

I agree with JamesLee. The old sidebar seriously slowed down the loadtime of the game. I'd rather have a map that loads in less than 20seconds than a sidebar that I seldom used.
