Detective Biography

Long Long ago in a city far far away two thieves crept along a rooftop and slipped through the window of Mr Martins' "leather goods" retailers. The Mad One, so called because of the way the alcohol/caffeine/blood ration of his circulatory system affected his personality, watched as his friend, The Kat, crept towards the cash till.
KABOOM!!!!
The Kat screamed as a shotgun blast cut his lifeline short in a split second of flame and smoke.
The Mad One ran. As he ran he thought of the family he had lost, his parents bodies in a smoke filled car. His sister, working her elegant fingers to the bone slaving away for a glossy magazine.
Later, at the funeral, he spoke to the priest. After a long conversation he attended his first confession and then handed himself into the police.
After he had completed his community service order he set up as a detective to attone for his criminal past.
Every so often he thought of his twin sister, and wondered how she was getting on. Perhaps she had finally broken away from that mind numbing "journalism" job and found a way to live the life they had once both been accustomed to.
