Welcome to Sleuth.

Now that you are subscribed I would suggest exploring life in an agency.

It will help you grow as a detective, solve more cases and help prepare you for the upcoming expansion.

Sleuth really is better after you subscribe, and gets even better in many people's opinion when you join an agency.

Thanks. In regards to agencies, how do I decide which one to join?

There's heaps of great agencies!
Jojo's or Akano's would be a good one for a heads up. Margaritaville is an awesome agency lead by an awesome player, Kenb.
Moonlighting, Eyespy, Dumb Witness... in fact too many to name that are all good.
You're always welcome to join Mokita for a quick tour to see the inside of an agency as well.

The most important thing is to decide how much you want to play and what you want to achieve. Is personal fame important? Hunting? Playing ful-on or just an easy going laid back agency.

Decide who and what you want them look for an agency that caters, there will be one.

Looking through the Agency Recruiting Board will give you an idea .. or when you have decided what YOU want, post that and hope an appropriate agency will answer.

Have fun and remember, as long as you're honest and don't rip anyone off, most agencies won't mind if you decide after a day or two or week or two it's not for you. They may even be able to recommend another one.
They only get upset if you're in for a day, take money, equipment and run off to start your own :).

Oh! So many agencies! Casa Blanca, Fat Kitten, Just around the Corner, Parker and Walker, Sirens! The Jellyroll one!

This could almost be done to the tune of "We didn't start the Fire."
Heh.

Yes, I would definitely recommend any of the agencies named. I would start at with a larger, older agency though (this includes JoJo's, who is newer). Fat Kitten (our agency) is not currently recruiting, but there are many great places recruiting on the Recruitment board.

Just make sure you choose an agency that meets your needs. Laid back, active, role playing, rent requirements, how often you need to log in, how often you travel, what city your headquarters are located, what type of equipment you will receive, and how friendly the agency is.

I know this is a huge list, but your agency is your family. You grow with them, learn about each other, and form bonds.

So, make a careful decision.

Good luck, and if you have any more questions, please feel free to PM at LilRach. I am always more than willing to help.

Lil
