That's a great idea Marylou...I am game!! Will post something before I go. Here is the funny history, on how this by accident came about.

Then fun thing about it was, this was not planned at all.
This weekend, a few friends of mine were planning a reunion in Atlanta for the summer. I said I couldn't come, but joked about being able to come next week. I forgot to put a smiley face in the email.

They think I am serious. I am like OOPS. As I was planning to do a trip anway, out of curiousty checked by magic there would be a sale going to Atlanta. THERE WAS! It is cheaper for me to fly to the US, then it is from Amsterdam to Paris.

Then I saw the stopover was in DC. I figured it would be nice to see DC again, as last time I missed the FBI tour.

I knew NC was quite close, and Smart Ass and I have been talking to hope to meet *one day.* I saw that as a perfect opportunity.

Now, I didn't quite realize, that Faery lived close to DC, it being a whole different state and all (forgive me I am European, and not so educated where all American states exactly are.)
So I joked on our message board....anyone wanna stop by.

This is when I found out Faeryshan, actually is 30 minutes from DC.

I proceeded to plan the trip yesterday. What turned in to just going for a long weekend to Atlanta. Is now turning in to almost a two week holiday. Where I first go in DC, where we all will hook up. I go to NC with Smartass. And actually take a bus to Atlanta, to fly home from there.

So.....the shocking thing is. Sunday morning, none of us actually had a clue....that we would be meeting up next week. Considering there is a whole ocean kind of blocking the way. :)

Reda, Sunny and I are hoping to take a European trip this fall, and Jstkdn has graciously offered to let us stay with her. Hopefully you'll be around then and we can come bug you too.

Clarification:

When I read my last reply, it incorrectly looks like it says Reda, Sunny and I are all taking a trip together. The leading "Reda, " is intended to identify the the person to whom the statement was addressed. Err. Umm.
