For all those budding sleuths out there I need you to answer me a question, who or what is Neurocam? I know this may sound simple, but believe me these people weave a mysterious web.

If it is an all over the world game. The game can differ from being lame and hoax like, to a genuine spy game. It sounds like Ace is getting the good end of that stick.

Ace, I received nothing yet.

I suppose it sounds cool - but I think that while most of it is fun, some isn't - I don't know what makes me think that - Neurocam just doesn't seem right to me - it hasn't since a year ago when I first heard about it.
Aside from that, maybe there is nothing sinister, but most people would say there's nothing sinister about someone who earned a living by using their artistic skills to produce paintings that were normally either used for postcards or sold to the public. But a lot of people saw nothing sinister about a painter and turned out very wrong. That's just an example of a popular opinion being wrong, not a comparison.

And after reading that agian, I realized I never said who the painter was - his name was Adolph Hitler.

This doesn't mean that it is not one of these things, but on their website, on the list of things Neurocam is not, it does say "Neurocam is not a game. Neurocam is not a social experiment." (?)

Good point Orbitrux, my question is did they lie on their website - it's very possible considering they registered the server with false information, and combining that with the lack of information they give to those not registered, it appears that for some reason they are obssessed with secrecy, considering this possibility, they may well have something to hide (even if it's basically worth nothing to many others) - so the question becomes very simple - "What would (and maybe do) they have to hide?" Once that is known that question is answered the next question is "Why hide the information?" So basically it appears that they're either very odd and secretive for no reason, or they're very scary. Without knowing which they are, I'd say they're very mysterious for now, but they will have one of the other labels later.

There must be SOMEONE that has figured it out. I am going to follow the links that someone posted here. This is killing me.

I received note. Something about human resources evaluating my application and I will hear back. I didn't have to do anything yet.

I received the same note as jstkdn after plotting in the bits and peices for registration. Juding by how little information I /did/ give them, and the nature of he e-mail, my idea is that it might be part of an Alternative Reality Game.

There are several games like this that make you scour the web for sites and the like that seem real enough, or even not at all related, until you actually look close. Can anyone confirm this?

Or are you folks actually doing work?

Paxton what is your RL location? I am curious how whatever it is is going to differ from what Ace gets. And when our assignments start to get different.

It seems like a lot of you are receiving the same crap. It sounds like a bunch of hype just to get people involved in whatever it is.
