Detective Biography
Sometime ago, a young man became interested in the legal system. In dreams which remain shrouded in mystery to this day, he kept seeing a large building containing a door with his name on it. He then interpreted this as being the law firm he longed to run one day. A short time later, he decided to become a lawyer and pursue those dreams he'd had.
One day he watched as a jury came back with the wrong verdict - something that was happening all too often. Some people said he'd won the case, but he never believed anyone really won in court that day.
When the day was over he went down to the local bar, walked across the poorly lit room, and ordered a drink. After he finished trying to banish memories of the innocent being convicted and the guilty walking away, he made his way home. When he got there, he turned on a radio, only to hear a reporter talking about another case where the wrong man had been convicted.
Deciding he couldn't take it anymore he closed down the law offices he'd spent most of his life dreaming about. He decided that the legal system, when it did things right, usually took too much time to get them done. He wanted to change that, but knew he wasn't in a position to.
It was on this note that, upon hanging up his hat as a lawyer, he decided he'd start a new career - one that he figured wouldn't be getting things wrong as often as the courts did - one that might be able to make a differance in his eyes. He decided to go out on his own and become a private investigator.
To this day, no one knows his real name, as when he became a private investigator, he quit going by his real name and started using the alias of Andy702.
No one can really be sure of almost anything about Andy702. One of the few things that anyone is still sure of about him is that somewhere, each day, someone is waiting for Andy702 to solve a crime for them.
It's rumored that Andy702 is somehow related to Ruby, but no one's quite sure. The only other ones who might know the truth are 7 people scattered across the world. It's rumored they've all been answering a few too many of Andy702's questions lately, so they might know about his past. It appears that the truth here is just one more mystery to solve - but the only reward offered is the knowledge gained.
