3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.

(These are some of my favorite animes, none of them of the silly Sailor Moon variety.)

1. Section 9 is asked to investigate a series of hacks, which leads the cyborg heroine to question if she ever was alive.
2. In Italy between the two world wars, a famous pilot who is now a pig helps defeat an evil plot.
3. In a futuristic world that was once Earth, a reformed assassin sets out to battle Count Magnus Lee to save a girl and her brother. (Sequel to this is actually better that the first.)
4. An absolute gem about a young girl who enters a spirit world to rescue her parents.
5. A girl saves a cat from being run over and the cat kingdom tries to repay her. This apparent act of kindness spirals out of control and forces our heroine to go on an adventure.
6. A ruthless and moving story about a girl raised by wolves, an ancient forest, and a hero who just wants everyone to get along.
7. Much better to me than the one above it, this features a protectress of a peaceful valley who wants to redeem the deadly jungle and unite all the villages in peace.
8. Sophie suffers an aging curse, then helps save a magician from himself as she searches for a cure.
9. Not for children, but about the effects of war on them, this tragic classic is considered one of the most powerful anti-war films ever made.
10. Two childhood friends trying to make a living as a flying delivery service find themselves caught in an epic adventure against an mysterious entity known as the "Guild." (26 wonderful episodes!)

Whoo, congrats. Sushi Kitty! The next quiz is yours, and yes, it is Last Exile, which I just love for characters and depth of plot.

Twelve Kingdoms is marvelous, but sadly incomplete, since its author stopped writing it in 2001. I also didn't do every one of my favorites--not enough room.

Anyway, for the curious, the ones Kitty didn't get are 3. Vampire Hunter D; 5. The Cat Returns; and 9. Grave of the Fireflies.

i don't feel like doing a quiz. someone else can do it. i'm too busy watching anime :)
