The game's very simple. You just have to post a riddle, and the person who posts next should try answering it, and should post their own riddle.

Example:
Why do birds fly South in winter?

Jack of Spades, I presume, or Ace if that is your technique.

In card terms, the possible ones at each stage are:
Black suits: Spades 23456789JQKA, Clubs 23456789JQKA
Not Clubs: Spades 23456789JQKA
Better than average: prob.789JQKA, unless Ace counts as one.
Spotted: All number cards are (sort of) spotted. JQKA
Unmarried: The King and Queen must be married. J or A
It's all a matter of personal taste whether or not Ace is counted as a substitute for one or as one of the top cards, therefore the more likely answer is Jack of Spades.

Right, Leola!
Also there was another easy explanation: Put all the odd numbers in one row and all the even ones in the other, witth 5 still at the centre.

Lyra gave Ercule as many dollars as Ercule started out with.

Ercule then gave Lyra back as much as Lyra had left.

Lyra then gave Ercule as back as many dollars as Ercule had left, which left Lyra broke and gave

Ercule a total of $80.00.

Here's a nice one : 6. How did James legally marry three women in Detroit, without divorcing any of them, becoming legally separated, or any of them dying?

Ercule: Lyra had $50, Ercule had $30.

Vulkie: If I had not heard of that one before, I'd be puzzled. However, I have, so I'm not. And he isn't a polygamist. He's a priest, who married the women to someone else, NOT himself.

For fans of Monty Python:
What is the average speed velocity of unladen swallow?
(Don't Google it, the answer is the same as that of King Arthur.)
