The game's very simple. You just have to post a riddle, and the person who posts next should try answering it, and should post their own riddle.
Example:
Why do birds fly South in winter?

Two men are travelling on an old-fashioned steam train. They are seated opposite each other and the carriage window, between them, is open. Suddenly another train passes and a blast of dirty smoke pours in through the window - leaving a trail of soot on one of the men's faces. However , he remains seated while the other man gets up to go and wash his face. Why?

I've not seen this one before! Is it because they're both going by what they can see of the other one's face? So the one who's looking at a sooty face goes to wash, and the other one didn't see any dirt?

Correct Cordelia ...actually that was too easy a riddle for seasoned detectives to solve! Will try to come up with something more challenging ;)

There is a common English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word - from nine letters right down to a single letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time?

I know Ebony's riddle but I'm not good at finding riddles so I'm not going to answer. I just wanted to point out there are two possible answers to Summer Daze's riddle. Unless I'm making a stupid mistake.

True, Autumn, I didn't think of a starling. Stringier would work as well.
Solve A Lot2 yes, it is m! :)
