I am thinking about creating a shameless copy of Serges' great game, I will be posting this on SoM and Noir but I'm not exactly 100% sure which one to do all the voting etc on. Now what I really want to know is if there is interest for this game and if so is there a sleuth or two that can help me out with setting up a league table, counting votes, or something of the like.

OH Deary, I'll lock you up in the milkcan. ;-)
::reaches up and pinches his cheeks::
Isn't he such a gooey little sweetie pie? Congratulations on making it to the next round.

Is there any voting going on today?
Even with the brackets page, I'm having a dickens of a time figuring out who is up what day, so I'd be really grateful if some nice person would be willing to post that information for me. I'll even do my best puppy dog impression if that'll be of any use :)

Unless otherwise noted voting will resume at turnover, with the matches taking place to be announced sometime soon

2. Nobody knew if it was true except one person, and she wasn’t talking.
Dang, if it 'were' true, where did Hezekiah, Granpappy's flea-bitten ‘coon hound, get himself a pair of them big ol' dentures.
Little Lerlene, she smiled a secret smile, as wide as the ‘sippi. Dawgs needed teeth for bitin’ and a huntin’, and her Uncle Billy-Bob… well, he weren’t no dawg.

*brings out the wombat once again* however, it's not yoyo that posted this match... so Lil hands off the wombat to someone else...
*THWHACK* A loud smack was heard across the room followed by an "OW! What was that for?"
That's for tomorrow's matches. Had to make it hard, didn't you? Couldn't you just randomly pick names as each person moves on to the next round?
Sheesh... we won't be able to vote by the Final Four, or the Deadly Duel.

that's smkshadyacres2 to you ctown :D so familiar with the Sleuth chicks err ladies these days :p
me I want to vote for Bucky :)
But if I can't vote for Bucky, I will say a word on behalf of Evelyn Gardner (since Ani's had her spiel)
Once upon a time I thought I could rest easy knowing I'd be at the top of the VH table forever and a day... that lasted oh all of about a month. Just goes to prove there's always someone bigger and better than you are.
And, in this case it was the redoubtable Evelyn Gardner. In my honest opinion (I know you youngsters like IMHO - but I'm old school like that) she is a giant among Sleuthvillians. I know how long it takes to complete a lot of AV's and I can only begin to imagine the dedication and perseverance (and sheer bloody-mindedness) it takes to track down as many as Evelyn has.
What's more in a game environment where the squeaky wheel often gets the most grease, Evelyn is a quiet achiever, and a truly gentle person, even in the face of adversity.
So no flying wombats, not even any nut jokes, not this time :)
... just respect.
Squirrel out!
