Hello, cass, I'm not awake yet. You sent me a PM and I replied in PM. Duh. I'm sorry.
I don't really know that I can help you much, but here are some of the common problems I know about.
Pop ups MUST be off.
Firewalls can sometimes cause trouble and setting sleuth as a safe site usually solves that problem.
Something about Norton anti virus wreaks havoc on occasion as well, but I THINK this mostly for MAC users, and I dont' really know how to fix it.
And once upon a time, Jojo had a problem with only getting flashes and never any messages, it too what seemed ages to get it fixed, and I really don't know what they did. So, Jojo?
Also, I'm curious, are you using the back button when this happens?
*dang it! I swore there was a thread about that in the subscriber center but I can't find it, sigh...*
Anyway, I'll keep looking for more info and let you know if I find anything.

ok, but the thing is, I'm over at my friend's house (sleuth_lover) and she gets messages just fine. It's something that has to do with my account. I'll have to wait until one of the admin's gets on

We had to change lots of things for mine to start working again.
What browser are you using? IE? Firefox? Netscape?

Ben or Sunny will probably be the best person to contact regarding this problem. However, i don't know why it would work for your friend on her computer, but not you on her computer. My guess is that you are trying to reload the screen too fast or hit the back button. If this is not the case, then I am baffled, and I can only recommend contacting Sleuth Admin
