If you go to your Detective page (the tab across the top that says Detective), on the bottom or somewhere on there you can click subscribe now and it will tell you the different prices. Very reasonable :)

It's basically dirt cheap. Subscribing is the cheapest of any online game I know.

Hmmm... depends on what you get. Though you need like pay pal to be a subscriber. or atleast a credit card.

No, DJ, you dont have to have a credit card or paypal to subscribe...you can send a money order to Ben as well...or a check :)

As a subscribed member you will see a train station on the map, go there and you will see the travel options. It costs both money and turns.
