Okay. So your feeling pretty good and you open an Almost impossible case. You search the crime scene and, *gasp* 3 out of the 4 pieces of evidence are for your contact! Oh happy day right?! Wrong. It can take for-ev-er (whine that out like any normal three-year-old) to click three times though 11 suspects (and then it probably will be the 4th peice anyway) and I have DSl. I shudder to consider what dial up *shudder* have to go through. Don't worry I'm getting to my point.

Is there anyway a simple "Use contact to identify <insert evidence here>" link could be added to the screen? That would be really really neat.

Ohh Milady that's a great idea!! It would really help the case for wearing smart gear at any other time then searching your crime scene! Also thanks to everyone for the back spacing idea, that's really helping...

lol backspace. my cable seems to b fast enough for me. even if it doesnt load instantly, im usually on a couple of other browsers anyway, (or suffering the never ending instant messages.)

but yea, those are some great ideas. but i doubt it would happen. like the other guy said, suck it up.

Sometimes fast isn't fast enough. Pointing the mouse all the way to the back button, then back down the next suspect. Then to the back button.
Try hitting alt-left with the left hand, while pointing to your next suspect with the mouse.

That would be SO cool and SOOOOOOOOOO helpful if there was ever such a button!

An "all-in-one" button would be interesting, but if you just go down the list, clicking each suspect once, wait a little for the page to come up with a "no" probably, and then go to Case Overview to see who it belonged to, you'll see it's easier than doing it one-by-one. :D

Tyrone, you actually don't have to use your mouse to hit the back button. Just hit backspace on your keyboard, and the page before should appear.

Thanks, I'll try that.

Can I add my vote for in support of Cicero's suggestion? In fact, I don't mind what form it takes, as long as the information is available quickly and easily.

I love this game. I DO NOT want to see it get any easier ...

BUT

the one issue I have is with the response time of the site. I am on dial-up at home and sometimes I can struggle to complete 3 cases in an hour! Even when using broadband I experience delays from time to time.

I don't see why information that your character is "entitled" to through a contact cannot be given without the need to ask about every single suspect individually. Frankly, I find this aspect of the game just plain boring, particularly if the site is slow in responding. It's the one thing that spoils this game, in my opinion.

I agree with arthur. I hate it especially when I need to check AI cases with my contact for team mates. Takes so long...

*pokes my last post* I think that's a common solution.

"An 'all-in-one' button would be interesting, but if you just go down the list, clicking each suspect once, wait a little for the page to come up with a 'no' probably, and then go to Case Overview to see who it belonged to, you'll see it's easier than doing it one-by-one. :D"
