Not all Europe, Jstkdn! In Britain it's Diet Coke, though it's anathema for most Brits to refer to themselves as European at all : o )

I actually considered that. But then I figured, the english always say that they are not in Europe, so I am just going with their flow. :) :)
Oh oh oh, good luck on the elections today!!!

Yes jstkdn sweet tea although sourthern style sweet tea is tooooo sweet. I like just a little sugar not a lot like they serve in the south. In southeastern West Virginia it is pop.

Yeah, I'd love to sea something like Sweet Coffee! Like a iced coffee, but super sweet AND caffinated.
I am getting a brain buzz just fantasizing about it. :)

Acually, Blaise I have seen Coca-cola light in some takeaways. I am also from England. And I would call it pop.

As the differences in language are obviously of great interest to many here, it so happened recently that I caused great offence to a fellow Sleuther from the U.S when I used what is a very benign and common British slang word that, I am told, in the States is a most offensive sexual slur. Needless to say, on explanation (and with the production of a web-link to a British dictionary definition confirming the word) the most reasonable person accepted that it was a misunderstanding and retracted the name she had called me, which didn't really matter because I didn't understand what she was calling me anyway : o )
