As Miss Hawkeye will be quite busy doing background work on the Olympics, this round of Resistance will return to its original format. There will be no story to accompany the missions, but everything else will work the same as usual.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

Bela, my point was the two people most likely to be spies in this game voted YES. Wanting to skip your turn is not personal, but I can see you are entertaining the very people who are trying to fool you right now. Devi is the only one who has named the Resistance in a way I agree with.

"Two people most likely to be spies"??
Molly, I KNOW who's a spy and that's you.
So quit your word games, I can see right through you.

As lovely as your outrageous accusations are, you and Yeti are so obvious and I can't believe at this point that any resistance member is buying it.

By deduction, Bela is the most possible Resistance member in our group, and she's been waiting for her turn forever. Devi, I think it is best to let Bela have her turn. (I know you're just saying no promises, but I don't see any harm letting her take the helm)

Bela, let's see what comes out as a team proposal and then I will make my feelings clear. I have heard your ideas and am considering them. Let that be enough for now.

Okay Bella, I'm game to try your idea. I'd only because at this point I don't have any other ideas. This game is too much for me.

I propose that myself, Bella, and Joseph be the next team.

I've been thinking about this, and I'll just say it: the reason I'm backing this team is that if it fails, it means Joseph is definitely a spy, because either she sabotaged it or jroepel did (and since Joseph cleared jroepel as Resistance, that would mean they're both spies). You don't need to use the SPOTLIGHT card. If it does succeed, Joseph and jroepel are almost certainly Resistance. The next mission will then have to be the three of us plus somebody else - then we could use SPOTLIGHT on jroepel, perhaps. If that mission was sabotaged, and jroepel was one of the saboteurs, we'd know that it was jroepel and Joseph. If he's clean, the other two on the team are the spies.

DW, if you took my turn after jroepel's, you're skipping over one confirmed Resistance player and a spy (her perspective, okay); if you take it after my turn (on Yeti's turn), you're only taking it away from a spy. You have quite a few players you call spies after you; you shouldn't be so anxious to take away my turn and give them theirs faster, if you were Resistance.

That's why I didn't want to use it now. Problem is, I think Joseph is a spy.
