Hey guys. This is kind of a follow-up to my last thread. There I asked many of you what you had done to make things any different. Here I'm asking you, "What are you going to do?"

I always tell students it's better to show not tell, so here we go!

What I'm doing- Tonight I started writing a short scripted mystery that will serve as a tutorial to answer a lot of the common SM questions that people have.

How long will it take me- Hopefully I will have the whole thing done in a month (but with me who knows).

What would I need for it to work- I'd need it to be approved as a Scripted Mystery and ideally I'd like Ben to make it free to all players.

So what do you think guys? What can you do to help Sleuth?

LOL Huglover!

Well, it can happen to all of us. You can incorporate it as a testing factor. :) :)

Happy hunting to all of the rest - and have fun!!!

Happy hunting everyone and good luck! Hehe, Breitkat is already out of the hunt. I just arrested her and she is now a guest in the Prince's jail ;-)

Hi All :-)
I am really sorry that I have not been able to put up any better scoring for you, so that you may better get the impression of where you are compared to the others.
Yesterday, when I came home from work, I was really exhausted, and have now been sleeping in at least 24 hours, just interrupted by "body cleaning" (I.e. exposing of any fluid content)
But, let me assure you: it IS being tracked whenever someone looks at the "score page" where all the sleuths in the Tournament are, including city. So, all of those who have gone through Cairo, if there ever was someone looking at the "score page" when you were active in Cairo, the database knows, even though it does not look that way yet.
I hope to, but cannot promise, that I will be able to display the tracked information during the weekend (i.e. tomorrow), including the list of cities that have been tracked for each of you. (I guess that information will be hidden later, but I want to show you this time, so that you can confirm that information is collected)

I have now managed to come up with a "somehow" list of content of the hunt, even though the disaster team is missing.
I will look into that later on ;-)

Notice thogh that even if a list of cities does not include 4 cities, a player might still be soon capturing. The list of cities only includes the cities that the "tracker" have been able to notice.

Congrats to ctown, the first to capture his villain :-) The Eagles are soaring and all the other hunters had better be on their toes or they will be eating our dust ;-)

This goes for David's Marine Battalion too :-D

Ups... does that mean I will actually have to do some cases?
- oh, well, let's hope I still have time to manage my target of a 14 days capture :-P

My Marines are doin' just fine, thank you very much, Ma'am.

They're off dealing with a couple regiments of Palace Guards presently. Not great odds, but we'll get the job done yet. We're Marines, after all. *Wink.*

As for your Eagles, I might keep an eye on yer six if I were you. Y'all might wanna keep an eagle eye out for a pouncin' kitty, as my wife likes to put it.

You folks have a real good day now, y'hear? :-D

Dave

P.S. -- Tuna works best for bribing. 'Cept in Ctown's case. Haven't found anything yet that'll work to deter the Pouncer from him. Oops. :-D

Another villain bites the dust. Congrats to Andrew Corelli who has captured his villain :-) Two down, two to go. That leaves me, I'm stuck in good old Cairo, and Peach_Detects. No worries though, our eagle eyes are trained on them and we'll swoop down for our capture soon enough.

No need for tuna David, kitties don't scare eagles. We eat them for breakfast ;-)
