Heh - on my first day here, I failed my 3rd case on Case No 7....

So much for the skills of my Very Smart Detective! (I kept getting misled by the wrong hair or something...).

Goodbye Davy Jones, hello Phileas Fogg!

I would highly recommend reading the Newbie FAQ and help files. You can also read various threads under newbie detectives.
also it helps to check alibis first then check out physical evidence or ask suspects if they witnessed anything.

I like to write down the names of all my suspects on a piece of paper along with their alibis. As I find out whether or not they are real or fake, I write that down. Physical evidence will never be linked to a suspect with a real alibi.

Physical evidence WILL be linked to a person with a real alibi! It will only be linked to ONE person with a false alibi, and that person is your culprit.

Also be careful about asking for alibi before you ask for others with motives, as the motive question is how you build your suspect list!

Hmm - thanks all. I was only trying Beginner and Easy cases, but I never had enough cash to buy anything or deal with Mr Shady - I had to keep bribing people to talk to me (ex-doctor build - smart, but no people skills).

Hopefully this new character will work better (with a diferent skill set).

You know, if you join an agency, they can help with the cases. We would love to have you join our agency!
