Everyone has suggestions for new things they would like to see in Sleuth. Well, this is a thread for those ideas. Just post a one or two line synopsis of your concept(s), with a small additional informational blurb if two lines is not enough to capture it. Discussions regarding specific ideas will take place in a separate thread, to keep this one running smoothly. Please do not include complaints, critiques, or other discussion on this thread, for purposes of flow. Anything that is not specifically done for the purpose of outlining an idea will be deleted.

All ideas will be considered; even if no discussion thread for them is immediately started, don't lose heart. Ready, get set, post!

An option to store the items you gain by making a favor in your house (when there's room for it) instead of the agency locker would be nice.

A few suggestions (previously posted), condensed into one post.
*********************************

Ability to pay to dump a contact. This has been discussed and argued to death, but at one point Ben DID sign off on it - the details were never really ironed out.

*********************************
Postal system to mail items to other sleuths, which they could pick up at the docks/station. Make it a bit pricey, and maybe add a day or two of shipping delay to avoid throwing off THs/AVHs. Much easier than switching agencies to trade equipment or making multiple trips overseas to stock your apartment.

*********************************
Pay a small flat fee to look under the counter at the detective shop. That's where the owner keeps favor items and some of the stuff sold by other detectives, now available at a reasonable markup. "Something real special came in today, but it'll cost you just to look. Hey, I got's kids to feed!" This serves dual purpose, making the shop more useful as well as adding a small element of gambling.

*********************************
On the negotiation/trap detection front I'd like to be able to use negotiation to get another lead on a new map once I trap out. Maybe finding out there's another map available right there in town - just do a favor for the right townie (no skill points spent, no travel required, just the time and cases spent tracking down the new map - closer to the punishment for being pirated). It would work similarly on the boat - get a new lead but still have to do a little legwork.

Fritz, the contacts are already identified at the bottomof the page, like this:

"I wanted to talk to Thomas Lee, the Fortune Teller.
Thomas was an important contact of mine and was always helpful in my investigations. "

Or did you mean different? Please explain further, new ideas are always nice. ^^

Has anyone mentioned this before? I would suggest to have Crime Labs in apartments.

I think that what Valentina means is that she would like have the items we collect on favours and VHs stored directly to our apartment instead of the agency locker room.

This has been suggested before, Valentina, and on this thread too ;-)

There are members of the community willing to join into a marketing team. I suggest that Ben authorizes a marketing team, gives them both the right of doing marketing, as well as guidelines he wants the team to follow.

At the same time, I suggest that the members of the marketing team will be listed on the Game summary page, and that they will get a special title, and may be even a special feature connected to their avatar. What about a border in a special color? Purple?

Can there be an option for agencies to open another branch for the same agency in the same or other city?
Criticism: That would make villain hunts too easy.
Solution: For opening another branch, you need to pay the rent for that other office as well as the headquarters. Moreover, a person can shift from the headquarters to the branch and vice versa but this option can be made unable for those hunting a villain.
Facilities: The headquarters can help or get help from the branches. I don't know how! But maybe by sending funds or something like that.
There might be some other faults in this suggestion and I won't mind if it gets rejected.
