The Mop Men Competition is officially under way. It runs through Monday, November 22nd. Standings and information can be found from the link on the main City Hall page.

One note, I hadn't included information about how any ties would be broken, so I added that to the rules. Ties will be broken by the amount of money competing detectives have accumulated.

I probably won't concentrate on Magi Belle much after the contest is over. It's just nice to have three extra games to play with.

If someone retires but has one of the three highest standings by the end of the competition, is that person eligible to win?

Yes retired detectives are still elligible as long as they fulfill the requirements (created on or after November 16th and not subscribed).

(Also, maybe you could take the standings off for the 22nd? It would things more dramatic for the last day!)

Anyway, it wouldn't make anything more dramatic for me. I had and still have the highest score, as I only did the hardest cases possible whenever I had the experience to allow me to do them. I have never failed a single case and have the highest possible score for an unsubscribed detective of my age. I entered the competition, not hoping to win, but to see how good other people were. It seems that nobody was really competitive and I was really surprised that nobody equalled me in experience points except for in the first day. Well, my name states my result!!!

I think it would be interesting to note other results of detectives who participated in the contest. I have $3410, 28 solved cases, 0 quit cases and 0 false accusations. I didn't sell anything that I was wearing on the last day as I didn't need to.
