I am thinking about creating a shameless copy of Serges' great game, I will be posting this on SoM and Noir but I'm not exactly 100% sure which one to do all the voting etc on. Now what I really want to know is if there is interest for this game and if so is there a sleuth or two that can help me out with setting up a league table, counting votes, or something of the like.

An interesting lineup today....

To start things off, we have Ms. Helen Corning and Brasco de Gama. A charming lady who would make a perfect southern belle, and a Brazilian casanova with quite the sense of humor. Who'd have thought we owe England for these two great detectives? Decisions, decisions....Hmmm....

Next comes Smkshadyacres2 and Nicnic. The first, another wonderful hunter and team player I've had the privilege of working with. The second, one of the stellar ladies at Al-Qahirah. They seem to grow fantastic detectives there like weeds. Another tough choice here.

Then we have Vampiric Smile and CFM. Mr. Smile is quite a character, and certainly seems to have a mind of his own. CFM's one of Sleuth's greatest, and rarely needs introducing around here. Figuring out what her name means, however, is a whole 'nother ball game. ;-) (Hmmm, Choose for Ms. Helen?? Nah, too cheesy.;-)

And finally, we have LilRach. Another distinguished Lady, she's been an inspiration and mentor for many here at Sleuth. She's a friendly and warm-hearted woman, and it's been a privilege to meet up with her twice now in these tournaments. I wish you the best, LilRach. ;-)

I'd like to thank those who have posted kind words in my support today. I appreciate it very much.

Good luck to ALL the entrants!! I hope you do well!! ;-D

I wanted to turn the focus towards Ddog today, but had problems finding the right way of doing it. How could I get everyone saying

vote Ddog

- since I was in New York, I asked the spiritual connected peoples here, the priest and the fortune teller about what to do, and they said

vote Ddog, vote Ddog

- then I went to Delhi for some help, but the holy man, the missionary and the fortune teller there, all said the same

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

then I took the train to Shangri La, to see if any of the scholars there could give me some wisdom. When I was sitting on the train, I was thinking hard about the job, while the wheels where chanting....

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

- I had to take sevral trains to reach my destination, and all the time all the trains was chanting....

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

- when I finally came to Shangri La, I turned to the Prince for help, and after having talked with him and his dear puzzy cat, and the 4 guards that was present, they all said

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

I turned to the Tigers, and the 7 guards that had a rest at the moment said

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

at the Lamasary, I found 8 monks, and they all chanted the same

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

then I asked all of the scholars about help and direction, thinking that they might give some good advice, and everyone was told me the same....

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

When sitting on the train back to sleuthville, the weels where again chanting...

vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog, vote Ddog

So, now you all know what to do:

vote Ddog....

- besides this roamie character are not even subscribed, so according to the rules set above, he cannot make it to the second round anyway ;-)

heh...maybe we can have a consolation round between roamie and Sleuthgirl Ciara? Not that I'm not intrigued by the prospect of James Gandolfini in a Gandol-bikini, but rules are rules...
