The best bet is to not get retired, just pay off Shady every two false acusations, once you are retired you lost your licens, all equipment, all money, everything. The name also cannot be reused. If you have a subscription you will be allowed to transfer remaining time to a new agent, but the new guy will inherit nothing but the paid subscription.

Oh, he's important, and he makes a TON of money.
(He's made about a quarter million just from me!)

I always consider myself an honest sleuth, I don't steal from other agencies, or snoop around in them.....yet I am paying off a shady character to get of my mistakes. :)
Could it be that the reason why so many get killed in sleuth town, is because of the shady character in the first place????

Although there would be many more retired detectives without Shady....behind that tough exterior, he's just an old softy trying to help us stay in the game.
(Well, a rich old softy...very rich)

If someone is willing to off him. I am paying a 100K. Softy or not.
Shady is actually a middle man. Who does he actually pay to get the falses off my record?????
