Detective Biography


Life had dwindled down to fast moments, little leisure, and no real love...other than the occassional bottle of Jack Daniels that I frequently enjoyed. Being a NewYork City cop in this day and age is tough. There was nothing easy about a 9 to 5. It took real will, effort, and determination to go to a job five days a week when all I wanted to do was be my own boss.

Swimming in the sea of blue, as a cop, was like swimming near a whirlpool. People in motion, ringing phones, and fast chatter from cons was enough to swamp even the most steadfast of men.

Now my new 9 to 5 was here. A small no-named bar on the corner of nowhere. The air, stale and clouded with smoke from lifeless patrons that look as if they'd spent an eternity perched on their barstools. I am a private Detective, friend only to a shot of vodka and a dollar. My loyalty is only as long as your retainer fee. I'm also an alcoholic, not the twelve step kind, but the social butter-fly, high class type that will drink you under the table just to find out a tid-bit of info to nail you with. My life is a grim ballad of someone who's near the end of his days; totally barren of anything blissful.

I'm a detective and I'm for hire.
