I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.
1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?
2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?
3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?
Thanks
-Ben

Something like an ebay or online yardsale for detectives to sell items to one another. I like the black market idea, too. Why not? It's not like our detectives are morally bound. We already pick locks! lol.

How about more special skills at each organization?

Ben. I'm going to voice this now and see if anyone else agrees with me. I feel that it is VERY shady that Heaven's Gate Det. Agency won the last treasure hunt. The character "intra", (not ".intra" or "intra.",) seems to have joined their agency long enough to have gained the treasure, and then retired. Now, while I don't mind an agency getting a treasure, I DO mind when it looks like there was quite a bit of suspicious play around the gaining of it. I don't know whether the current directors of the HGDA made up new characters, paid for them, and then were trying to get rid of the evidence? Or if there were some "mercenary" character out there, who just picks random names out and solves cases for favors for a random reason. However, I must say I'm very displeased with this occurence. I don't know how much I can really do here other than to voice myself.

I also wonder how a team with only 2 (TWO) agents has won 2 hunts in the last 2 days! I have nothing against Heaven Gate (in fact you will find in the recruiting postings I actually encouraged them to restart their agency), but this is totally beyond believability! In the attempts to 'level' the playing field, is THIS what was sought?

I know there's been a fair amount of griping about this already, but I thought that I would voice my disent as well...concerning newer agency agents with low experience points not being able to use their contacts. I understand and agree that they should not be able to solve the cases, but I think they should be able to use their contacts. In a real detective agency, new agents may not be able to solve a case, but the agency would still use that person's contacts if necessary...and since this is an RPG, it would seem to make sense to have it this way in the game as well.
I also agree with someone else's statement that it discourages agencies from recruiting newbies.

Is anything in the works to help us spend all the money we are accumulating? We've got enough now that its not much motivation to get more.
Maybe you could offer a drug habit that cost $1000 a day, but let you think much faster.
Or special treasure hunts that you need to spend $3000 per agent to send your folks to the Bahamas.
Or something more special in equipment to buy. Or better housing? Or furniture? Or charities that rasie your status? Or a hot tub for our office that relaxes us and gives us 'deep insights'?? Maybe you could charge a hookup fee for the new service of letting us see who's logged on in our agency? We are still scrambing to earn skill points but the money is sort of beside the point now.
