In honor of that lousy waste of a month February being over, I have decided to hold the first-ever Sleuth March Madness Tournament!

The premise is pretty simple. We compile a list of 64 of the game's most recognizable players, seed them into a tournament bracket, and allow Sleuthville to vote for the "best" in each matchup.

Rules for eligibility:
You must be subscribed and over 30 days old
You must PM me with your intent to enter the tournament or to nominate an eligible member for the tournament. If you are nominating someone, you must also be subscribed and older than 30 days.
Entries and nominations should be messaged ASAP. As soon as we get 64, the seeding process will begin and the matchups will be posted.

After the initial bracket is filled, I will post a few matchups here every day. Then, the people involved in those matchups will have an opportunity to say "anything" on this thread that they feel will allow them to advance to the next round of competition. Sleuthville votes will be what decides the winners, and voting information will be coming soon.

The overall winner of this tournament will receive $100,000 sleuth cash.

Please begin sending your nominations and entries to me ASAP, and good luck!

Hello to my fellow Sleuthvillians. Let me start by thanking Serges and Ran for their kind words. A big shout out to my mentor, Special_K.

I'm just here to put the Long back in Water and the Water back in Long.....(whatever the hell that means)

So please, vote for the LongH2O.

Very well I must give a shout out for one of the great agency directors around, Miss Shell Marple!!!!!

Now here is a director that has made this game that much more fun through role playing as well as being a great mentor! She gives more to her agents than she asks for in return. Now who could ask for more.

Here's a few words about the greatest director in sleuthland, Miss Tinuviel.
She and Lulah have put up one of the greatest agencies here, al-Qahirah, i'm sure there are lots of good agencies to work here, but none of them have grown as fast as al-Q, and that is mainly due to her hardwork and team spirit. She is most impressive: a doctor, belly dancer, musician, director, very charming and beautiful, some people say she can fly, i don't believe it, but i wouldn't be surprised.

One more endorsement for me:

This is whole heartedly unbiased DESPITE the fact that I am his mentor, but Longwater is an unbelievable asset to this community.

He showed his true colors by not getting scared off of chat by the rest of us old timers who can be a bit hard on newbies (youre surprised, I know lol). He came, stayed, and joined HH, moved to New York and has been a villain hunting/treasure hunting machine ever since.

He's a sweet guy, a good friend, and a wonderful person who TOTALLY deserves to move forward, despite his young age (sleuth-wise of course) :)

Huh boy.... Tinuviel or Yoyo... I've worked with both and think the world of both of them. It's just not fair to make me choose! :( Tinuviel has been a blast to RP with and a dear friend on private channels. Yoyo has been wonderful to work with as well as RP with. I'm very glad to have him in the same agency as me. :)

The rest of todays contestants also have wonderful merits, although I'm most familiar with Rainier, Ms. Corning, and Coco Cola :)

As for tomorrows contestants... Ara ROCKS! :) As does Shell Marple :)

And, Breit... Thank you for nominating me. I am honored beyond words, by this AND your friendship, which means more to me than any nomination.

This game, or rather the community within this game, has helped to keep me sane during a tough time in my life. I'm not here as much as I used to be, although in a way it's all your fault. All of you. Thanks to the love and support I received from friends I made here, the shy little rabbit I was came out of her barrow, and has begun to shift into a stronger, more outgoing person who believes in herself. So much so that I have returned to school. Which is why I'm not here as much as I was. Working part time and going to school full time doesn't leave a lot of time for fun and friends. But, I'm trying to keep you all fitted into my life. Thank you for being who you are. Della and I are not the same person we were because of you.

(Oh, and I hope to have more on SleuthCon I by the end of the week)

Zan is a great team player, always happy to help out with agency business and treasure hunts. He's also a mean arch villain hunter - don't hesitate to invite him onto your team if you are in the AVL league.

Zan is a really friendly person and everyone in FK enjoys having him around. We know he deserves to do well in this contest.

So VOTE FOR ZANJANA.

Let me throw out some support to Hawkeye Harris.

Hawk is on hiatus at the moment, so unfortunately we won't be hearing from "him" for this matchup. But as I'm sure Hawkeye's reputation speaks for itself, let me just remind you of the greatness that is "Mr." Harris.

Hawkeye is an extremely accomplished member of the game and a very supportive member of the community. I've had the privilege of teaming up with Hawk in the AVL, and let me just say "he" was a pleasure to work with. I would throw my support wholeheartedly behind this genuinely talented and contributing member of the community.

VOTE FOR HAWKEYE!!! (On March 6th...)

What can I say about AraLives?

She was the FIRST person I ever spoke to in this game. She recruited me to SMRT, and I've been honored to help her build this great agency into what it is today.

We've laughed, we've cried, we've bitched, and through it all, she has been nothing short of a great friend, a FABULOUS mentor, and an unbelievable player who spends so much time on the newbie board she should be its spokesperson.

Love you girl, and I know you'll move forward :)
