For those, who have gotten all the smart skills and a set of charm (or tough) skills finished, suggestions on what to go for next? Should I try for faction skills or just start working on the other interview set? As a side note, I have gotten Hypnotism and Basic Interrigation already. I'm considering getting Underworld Connections but I'm not sure if I should go for something more immediately useful, like Lock Picking. Suggestions?

well, Rain, I posted a thread before on this subject but it got removed. This subject is still classified as "Top Secret" and we're all clueless here I fear...
Let's see what tomorrow will bring to us...

Thanks for the advice everyone.
tollo - You would work on just getting the faction skills or finish the tough set before getting the faction skills? As I originally mentioned, I have only Basic Interrogation at the moment.

Tz, I recently asked the same thing, and majority of responses were to get my Underworld Connections next. So, that's what I'm saving up for.
Though quite a few people said that mixing tough/charm was a good idea, I also received feedback that it was not necessary. To be honest, I have no charm skills and all my tough skills. I solve a quite a bit of AI cases without much problem. So I don't see an immediate need to mix the two.
I think my gear helps a lot though. I saved up to get some better gear from the factions which gave me an 18 in toughness. (now a 21 thanks to the Prince!)
I will probably stick with the faction skills first, and once I'm done with those I'll starting learning my charms.

unless, of course, some cool new skills develop from hunting arch villains!

I see you´re smart and charming so you may not need tough skills, I think you have better chances with charm. So i´d say faction skills first and after that rest of the tough.
That´s what I did, being very charming.

btw I have a question... Would you consider the research skill as usefull?
I am hesitating between getting the research or the lock picking skill first :|

Get research. It is a must have. It eliminates one suspect for you. And Lock Picking is the next one. It saves a question sometimes and will give you suspects or an alibi.

Catherine, (btw, I still love your name)
I would recommend research before lock picking. Research eliminates one suspect that would have turned up as a false alibi. They are cleared and can not be guilty. Lock picking only saves you one question per locked door, and might be a question you already know the answer to. Lock picking is good, but I think research is more helpful.

Catherine - I have Research but not Lock Picking and I find research to be of great use.
To those who replied - again thanks for the info. I think that I've decided to go with R Anstett and Arabella suggestion and go with Lock Picking next (once I have the points). Underworld Connections would be nice but the extra question seems more useful to me at the moment.
