I did The Prisoner. Now I'm in London and I've tried Killers 3 times and I get to a point right when FM tells me to flake off. Then there is nothing else to do. No one's even clammed up on me. Weird thing is I started a new detective a couple of weeks ago and I had solved this previously under a different account a while ago and I don't remember it giving me any problems. I'm frustrated to the point I think there's a bug or something. I've asked questions in a different order each time. Checked city hall and I just get stuck at the same point every time. Is there a skill you need that I don't have under my new detective? I have 10 skill points I've been holding on to. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to keep wasting cases doing the same thing over and over again. And I really want to complete the whole Doomsayers game. It was fun!

I got to a couple of points in Doomsayers where I was stuck and couldn't get anything to happen...or so I thought. I would advise that you check in again with every townsperson, every suspect, and research. If you don't see anything, it may be time for you to accuse and you didn't realize it. --this happened to me :)

I have notes I took on these somewhere. *If* I can find them tonight (that's Sleuth Morning) I'll PM you and see if we can work out where you're stuck. I won't tell you who did it, but I'll give you a nudge if I can.

How 'bout if you post your steps of investigation over here and we say "cold" or "hot" when you're on the right/wrong track....

A lot of people are attempting Doomsayers with really low experience. While, I'm sure it's possible, I'd recommend getting more skills first.
The one in Delhi was quit and restarted by a LOT of detectives. Even those that had nearly ALL the skills and the best gear.
They're not going anywhere so I'd suggest to wait.
Also, while I think one of the gifts isn't that great, there is one you'll possibily want to wait to use. And as a more experienced detective, this gift may work out a lot better.
It's not my intention to offend you. Ijust don't see the point in doing them before you're ready.

I'd, at the very least, want all my interview skills :).

Just in case you and Squirrel didn't get around to the PMs :)
If you have all the suspects, then just follow Orbitrux' advice, but if you don't, then you need to try a different way of going about it. This one will get you stuck if you're too fast ;)

Yep, having just completed it (on only my second attempt, hee hee), I would defnitely say that having all your interview skills is an absolute must. Now, if only I could make my mind up between the thing and the service...

I guess no one will read this far who hasn't solved these yet or who isn't interested in a spoiler, BUT it would be good to put a spoiler alert on the original thread heading or talk about this privately, in my opinion. There have been a few deleted threads about Doomsayers, possibly because they all ended up revealing too much, too publicly.

That said, I just solved these all for the first time this week. I got them all on the first try, but I know that is due to some extent on my gear and skills. My main problem with FM's is that, like Orb, I don't always know when they are over and it is time to accuse! I also don't keep track of them as some others do (or remember them very well), so I am probably not much help aside from thinking maybe your new character just doesn't have the skill level to continue at this time? And of course, Doomsayer III is harder still, so I would counsel you to wait until your detective is a little older and wiser.
