See if there is interest for this.

1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.
5. No cash involved. Just glory. :)

rofl... what's your point?

Do you by any chance have a competitive streak? lol

4. The Cheshire Cat > B. Alice's Adventrue's in Wonderland > e. Lewis Carroll > vi. The Beatles > I AM THE WALRUS

5. Dorothy > A. The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz > d. L. Frank Baum > iv. Elton John = GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD

A lesser person (lol) might once again say 'results stand'... but in the interests of the integrity of the Pub Quiz (if not the competitors) I amend my result to declare Greyling the winner. Closely followed by Cynderbear.

Anyway I better get back to my hunt so I can finish and get ready for the Champions round of the AVL...

*lol* - wasn't my point that the judge sucked pretty clear ;p

And no, I don't think I'm any more competitive than the next person - *she said while batting her eyelashes* - if you hadn't brought up the margins, I wouldn't have objected in the least bit :D

Anyway, Cynder, if you have an idea for the next quiz, you're more than welcome to it as I only have this emergency idea up my sleeve that won't be very creative :) - so a couple of hours or else it'll be the emergency idea ;D

I think Greyling should do the next quiz, as she already knows what I'm working on. *winks*

This is a very interesting correspondence, the only thing missing is the quiz.

You know, looking at these quizzes and all the great answers, I have to observe that we Sleuths are a very intelligent and educated lot.

Anyway, here's my guesses:

1. Tunisia
2. Zorro
3. ? (Have no idea. Serges' manure cart sure sounds like a winner, though.)
4. Roger
5. Alloy of silver and gold (Would you believe a 7th grader did a report on this for "alchemy?" Tycho owned a moose too.)
6. ???--Pure guess? Bjorn Borg, since he's another Scandanavian? *Cynder is a sports dummy.*
7. Suez--Zeus
8. Francis Ford Coppola
9. Freyr (Ing)
10. Mexico
11. ? (Trick question? Blood is 5 times denser than water, not thicker. Don't you just loathe teachers? Sooo picky, picky.)
12. Dom Perignon

Time to round off the emergency quiz.

1. Tunisia
2. Zorro
3. The first traffic lights (they were gas lights)
4. Romeo (oki, should probably had said "international radiotelephony spelling alphabet", but time was short and "police letter alphabet" was the best I could google at the time as the original question and answer were a little too "local")
5. Alloy of silver and gold (*lol* - didn't know he owned a moose)
6. Bjorn Borg
7. Suez--Zeus
8. Francis Ford Coppola
9. Frej/Frey/Freyr (he's the brother of Freya)
10. Mexico
11. 6 - according to the answer (I've been trying to google it to make sure, but haven't found it yet. And to the picky teachers - *lol* - "dense" may be the correct term, but most times we don't say "blood is denser than water" and I thought the analogy was nicer - *teeheehee* :D)
12. Dom Perignon

Winner is...CYNDER (the picky teacher ;p)!! YAAAAYYYYYY!! Congratulations and well done (hope you have time in between the other project - *wink wink* - to put together a shiny new quiz as well) :)
