Do you mean the $5.50 will aply to players that subscribe after Wed. or will current members be affected by the new fee too, when thier subscription expires?

i know this is all conjecture for another 1o hours but just had a thought (picking up on another line i this thread) about skill points. For relatively new detectives that want to travel, if the new skills are "city specefic" and ability to get skill points is exp based then it will take a LONG time to get all skills and leave difficult choices as to whether to get traditional SLeuth town skills or a city specefic skill that is useless elsewhere putting a budding detective at disadvantage in the traditional game AND the new expansion. (this is not so much a complaint but a query)
I suppose it's a bit academic now anyhow as the expansion is nearly her (*he begins to rock and hope for the day to go faster*)

I dont think you need to worry about disadvantage. Im an "old" detective and have very few skill points, Im far from having all the skills from this town and at my level they come so slow that it looks like I dont get any. So i acctually envy the newbies who can still get skill points.

What you say, Reda. Of course, if I played all 8 of my daily cases plus favors, instead of hanging out in the lounge, I might have gotten farther.
But I'm wondering how we will fare if we are trying to solve incredibly hard cases in a new area, with only some of our gear and none of our contacts - esp if we will be earning them at a rate of a point a month or so ;-)

LOL!
I have the same problem...
I spent too much time in Gumshoe in my 'younger days'.

I know Skyler, and you have been helpful to this Newbie. P.S. I did get the Zoot hat, yesterday, from a favor.
