You gain a contact by repeatedly doing favors for them. (townspeople) Say,the more favs you do for the Barber, or whatever one u want, the more chances of him becoming your contact. There is no set amount of favs to do b4 he becomes your contact either.

Oh yea and can players help with more then 1 favor a day, because I notice that when your in a faction you can only do 1 "little job" per day.

You get a new favor for every 2-4 cases you solve. In general count on every 3 cases.
So yes if you subscribe you can do three favors a day if you correctly solve all of your cases. With help in an agency you may even solve more than that.

R Anstett, it is every 4 cases...
However, previously solved favors count as one, so it is 3 if you solved your previous favor.

I want to disagree here, but based only on my gut.
I believe I have received a favor after successfully completing one, then doing two more cases.
For the most it is solve a favor, solve 3 more cases get a new favor. Fail on a favor, do 4 more cases and get a new favor.

Probably you didn't solve the favor immediatly after having "gained" it.
I mean:
-you had a favor waiting to start
-you start a case instead and solved it (count it as 1)
-you solved the favor (count it as 2)
-you solved other two cases (3 and 4)
-you received another favor
Anyway the rule is that after 4 cases (normal case or favor, doesn't matter) solved you receive a favor.

But the problem with that set up is I often turn in lots of cases between favors. I save a favor we need for future hunts, then turn in 5 or more cases in the mean time.
I do think that is when I have only needed 2 to earn the next favor.
There might also be a slithly randomness to it so that we can't get a specific number that works all the time.
