Whats the deal with the racetrack? Should you bet? If you do bet do you win money if your horse came in 2nd or 3rd?

You place bets and if your horse does well, you can win money.

I bet lightly once in a while. It is up to you.

You can win money if it comes in 2nd or 3rd. That is only if you say "To Place". However, "To Place" gives less money than "To Win"(which is only 1st place).
