this was new to me. I was doing an Almost Imp case (The Singular Case of the Exotic Sin), and with 4 points in the Smarts equipment I found nothing at the crime sence. Zippo. Nada.
Anyone else have an expereince like that?

Good point cee cee that clicking thing if you are like me you tend to find that not only clicking early but multi-flash clicking (I sometimes have bad habit of clicking like3times being to anxious)instead of just a normal click can cause havoc in so many ways.

Oooh, flashbacks to the locker fiasco. Yes, I have had the empty suspect list from going to the map before the case had finished loading. It seems a keyword to the game is patience...

OUCH! This time the AI case was The Tortuous Legend of the Wayward Murder and with 11 smarts I got Zippo at the crime scene!

Do you mean you didn't find a single piece of physical evidence or that you didn't get any additional information on those that you found?

Sorry if I'm reading it wrong, but it almost sounds like you're not finding any at all, and the only way that can happen is if you don't have basic hair and/or thread analysis - or else it's definitely a bug.

If it's a case of not getting the additional information on the evidence you find, then it could be that AIs do require a stronger outfit than +11, although I'm not really sure on this, however, easies should usually give you at least 1 piece of completely identified physical evidence although it is possible to strike out on the lower levels when not being maxed up (probably also is even if you are wearing a +18 and up, but more often on the higher levels than on the low) :)

Yea your first impression was right. It just said "no evidence found." And that's it-no nothing.

Yeah it's weird how the search tool can cough out something from two years ago but not from two weeks ago :)

There's been some shenanigans of this nature afoot lately matteo...good on you for solving; I would have just quit and gone to sleep in a drawer.
