I know we always show Ben and Sunny the greatest of appreciation when something new is implemented. However, I just wanted to send some hail to them, as a seperate message from a new addition.

To me it is amazing, how a simple bored afternoon, this game has started. I never thought, I actually arrived in a community. I pretty much stuck to myself. The message boards scared me, as they seem to be dominated by people that to me seemed to know everybody. Kitten, fat chuck, Nagasong, DaRu and others.

Most days I didn't even look at the message board. Until I started hanging out with the people in my agency, and then strangers started to message me.

Now that I have stopped playing the game. I could not leave sleuth, as it is no longer about the game for me.

I had a lot of entertainment here. Hanging out with a group of great people. Meeting more and more people.

Particularly my friendship with detective Smart Ass, whom I met in real life in March. I view as something that will last for a very long time to come. She is truly a fantastic woman. Whom invited me in to her home, and life. There is always some apprehension meeting people from the internet. But her warm heart, not only invited me in to her home, but trusted me with sharing the lives of her husband and her kids. Considering the number of scary people around on the internet. To me this is no small thing.

Sleuth has become not a place to play a game. But kind of like the local pub around the corner. Where I go, take my coat off....and everybody knows your name (enter the rest of the cheers theme.) The pub regulars always there to entertain me. Have a few beers with.

Without getting too mushy. I enjoy the company of this community immensely.

Sunny and Ben....thank you!

*sigh* it's 3:30 in the morning where I live, and yet here I am. What's worse is that in less than 5 hours I'll be at work, and on here again, unable to log off until it's time to come back home...only to log on again. Sleuth has drawn me in, given me friends and made me lose all desire to do any work while I'm at work :).
I'm not complaining though. I love it here, and I'm not addicted. But if I was, is there a 12 step program?

LOL mackenzie Robbin. Did it get any worse because some dumb director in TAFKADD promoted you to agent?

For some reason people seem to think I have a 12 step program Envy. But in all honesty, I just went cold turkey. I think it can best be compared to eating something so much, that you end up not wanting to eat it anymore. That's what happened to me.

I wonder if I ever will get filled up? :/

I can't get away from it...I do something constructive around the house, maybe for 10 minutes, and I run back to the computer!

I might have to put a deadbolt on my computer room for a few hours...or have someone else do it and hide the key. Gawd, Id kill someone tho if I couldnt get near this :)

That Lion in me (Im a Leo..Leo the LION? Get it lol) would come out, teeth bared, and claws out!! :) *raising hand* yes I am a proud addict *sigh*

Why is it a 12-step program!? Surely a 10 step program would be easier!
Thanks Greyling. They're mighty pretty! :D

thats cool angel that you were able to meet your husband here.
jstkdn making me an angent has only increased my addiction. i can now borrow stuff and work on harder cases. not good.
guess i will be going cold turkey in august. not sure how i am going to survive though. will probably turn medical school cases into sleuth style setups. *hopes she can make it through school without sleuth*
in truth this is a great place and the people are great. i enjoy reading the posts and am beginning to get involved :)
