It just occurred to me that the people with the highest standing in each faction get to be 'the leader'. Is there any advantage to this position!?

I've only 37 points right now and I'm the leader dude. I thought that Dogberta would be Philosopher Marshal from now to the end of time.

If you want to be a leader. Go for the Green hand. It seems to be the most negected faction. I was the leader for like 4 days and was trying to get out of that faction. I had around 27 points to begin with and only lost it when I went as low as 21 points.

Well, there is one problem: both of us are unsubscribed.
And, on the story related reason, I like the goal of the Order more - to find universal truth.
Actually I like the Arcanum Brotherhood better, but my first political cases worked toward the Order so I am stuck with it. Ironically, now most of my political cases are against the Order.
My goal is to be the leader of each faction once, just for fun. ;)

Awling - I'm always happy to share, and am glad you nab it sometimes. I think Ben said he arranged it so the higher your standing is with a faction, the more points you lose on the midnight adjustment. That keeps any one of us from hogging it all the time.

I was in shock when I was Philosopher Marshall a few days in a row. I agree you you, Dogberta. It's fun to check and see if you have it or not.
By the way, there's a new incumbant in today, we'll have to see what we can do...

They are talking about Factions. LCN, Eastern Triads,Green Hand, etc......and they are talking about being #1 with them. (by doing little jobs for them or cases that are positive for them)

Thanks Greyling - I was in the middle of changing factions so was trying to get a +1 standing with someone else! I've done it now! :D Watch out Eastern Triads, here I come! :D
