Ok, I just started playing this game today and I was wondering:
1. How do I get to see the mayor, because none of my cases related to that at all?
2. How often are you able to do favors, is it just random or a once a day thing?

The mayor is the head of the Order of Socrates - one of three political groups which are important if you are trying to find treasures. You need to be part of an agency (and subscribed) to do that. How to find them is in the help log.

A chance to do a favor will appear after you complete 3 cases successfully.

1. Have a good relationship with the order of socrates. Once your score with them is above zero, you can see him.

2. Like Dogberta said, for every three cases you complete successfully, you can do a favor.

u can have acsses to 1 of the factions if ur standing with them is above 0. u can do that by completing cases for this faction. after that u should do small jobs for them to keep ur stading. they r usefull for hunts if u r subscriber, but even if u arent they r good cause u can buy special equipment from them and learn special skills. each faction is good for a differnt type (charm/smart/tough).

Actually dogberta, it is every 4 cases. Sleuth Admin corrected that for us in another thread.

The favor from the day before counts as a case. :)
