Does anyone have advice on how to switch factions relatively quickly. I know want to switch to a different faction in order to utilize the different skill, and I wasn't sure on the best way to do so. Any help would be great.
I didn't put this under the newbie section because I wasn't sure it was something newer players would have ran across yet.

Sometimes it takes time R Sweets, you most likely know not to do the cases of factions that will lower the faction your after. The other way is to swap some cases in your agency from an other member who gets the faction case your after.

Swapping cases works best for us. But it only works for a faction in your home city. I'm hoping that adding a file cabinet to our field offices will allow us to switch factions in other cities too.

That's about it. Our agency members regularly store cases with headings like "OS+ ET-", so others can grab what they're after.
Then you just have to do enough faction cases to raise your rating to +1 - and then you're all set to do the 'little jobs' they offer....

yes, having an agency that gives you the cases you need is helpful

And of course I probably don't need to add this, but once you get to +1 and do the little jobs, doing them faithfully is the fastest way to impact your standing, even without sharing cases.

Also, being in the right city can help. If you just want to get in with a new faction, then find a city which has the new faction but not your old one, and do little jobs and faction cases there.
If you want to decrease your standing with the original faction at the same time as getting in with the new one, choose the city that has them both in. Make sure you keep doing the little jobs for the new faction and quit the faction cases that benefit the old faction.
