Does the motive make a difference in the case? Do ppl really kill because victim forgot birthday? Just wondering whether you can discount suspect because motive is weak.

It wouldn't take me twice to kill my husband....
But it is really strange when that motive comes up between a son/daughter when the victim was their mother. Real easy to forget those hours spent in labour....

I mean, how can someone utterly despise the vic when he or she is the vic's best friend?

Well looking at it logically it is possible for the victim to consider this person his/her best friend and the person referred to may act as such but may secretly hold a burning hatred... I mean it wouldn't be the first time its happened.
