Does the motive make a difference in the case? Do ppl really kill because victim forgot birthday? Just wondering whether you can discount suspect because motive is weak.

The motive doesnt have so much to do with it, as the alibi and evidence against them does. I think BUT what do I know? haha :)

No, you cannot. Motive is just there to make the game a bit more challenging, and, as with the birthday gift, funny.

*Ya never know though. Someone might kill for that George Foreman Lean, Mean, Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine*

My boyfriend THINKS I'd kill him if he forgot my birthday two times in a row!

It wouldn't take me twice to kill my husband....
But it is really strange when that motive comes up between a son/daughter when the victim was their mother. Real easy to forget those hours spent in labour....

I mean, how can someone utterly despise the vic when he or she is the vic's best friend?
