The New York Police Commissioner has just approved a daring, top secret mission to infiltrate the ranks of La Cosa Nostra and target none other than the fearsome Dona Isabella Santanelli herself. If all goes well, he can collect enough evidence against the Dona to put her away for life and severely cripple the lucrative crime operation.

The only catch? La Cosa Nostra has access to the NYPD’s detective base (no one knows how) and can identify any of their detectives on sight. Because of this, the Police Commissioner has to recruit from some lesser known faces- the private detectives and civilians walking the streets of New York.

Will the Police Commissioner be able to assemble his task force and infiltrate La Cosa Nostra without spy interference from LCN? Or is the mission doomed to fail, and the price fatally steep for all involved? Find out in this game of The Resistance!

The original twosome was a successful, it was only when you were added that the mission was sabotaged so I think you're the spy that sabotaged it.

I think the spies are Devi and Sal. I'm said yes to this mission and it's not surprising Devi said no as it's going to succeed.

Either way... even if Devi isn't and Riza is, this mission will still succeed.

(Unless I'm totesnaiveballs trusting Yeti.)

I know of course that a Devi, Marc, and Sal team would end the game in favour of the spies - but imagine if I'm wrong about Riza and it is indeed Devi who is the first spy. If that were so Sal and Devi would be able to finish off the game with a double sabotage - it'd be so embarrassing.

I meant the twosome aside from myself. This time around I really am resistance, so I know one of you is a spy. It would have been a lot more fun if I were a spy again, I admit it, but it wasn't meant to be.

For someone who I want to logically argue as being a member of the Resistance, you are as suspicious as they come Devi.

Ain't that the fun of it all? But, no, seriously, I'm with the good guys this time

If there were a spy on this mission Devi then given the spies just need one more SABOTAGE to win why would Molly need to give the option to vote? To be honest it's starting to look more and more like I was wrong about Riza since she voted this mission through, whereas you and Sal (the confirmed spy) have voted against it.

Mission 4:

Yeti Face, Lady Emerald Devon and Marc Lacrimosa all congregated outside the brownstone apartment building where the perp lived, eyeing each other out of the corner of their eyes. The detectives were starting to crack; the failed missions led each to second-guess their compatriots and wonder if a spy was in their midst.

This mission would be a make-all, break-all. As one, they moved forward through the doors and rode the elevator in silence, each fingering the firearms they had concealed on their person.

"Apartment 3014", Yeti said quietly as the elevator doors slid open, and the detectives turned towards the left, moving to the apartment at the end of the hall. The hairs on the back of their necks stood up as they saw the apartment door ajar, a trail of rose petals showered before it and past it into the dark abyss.

"This can't be good." Marc murmured, drawing his weapon and kicking open the door. Nothing happened. With cautious fingers, he turned on the light.

The petal of roses led into the apartment, swirling across the carpet to end in a lush blanket under one wooden chair. On this chair was the man they had come to take into custody, tied and obviously dead. A neat note was pinned to his blood-soaked shirt. With shaking fingers, Lady Emerald Devon lifted it and began to read.

"My felicitations, detectives. I do appreciate the hard work you've done to pursue myself and my associates but I assure you, I will not be going down as the patsy for your pathetic Police Commissioners scheme. All evidence and suspects that could possibly help him achieve his goal have been eradicated, and I hope each and every one of you on your six man team will note that we'll be paying you a personal visit to introduce ourselves properly. Well, I should say four... for rather than a nice Sicilian necktie, I intend to give YETI FACE and RIZA HAWKEYE a promotion in our ranks and a cash reward for being such loyal La Cosa Nostra operatives."
