The rival factions of the city of Shangri-La have been at odds for years. The Tigers seek to crush all opposition to the Prince’s rule, while the Tea Steepers are disapproving of the new Prince’s disregard for the peaceful traditions of Shangri-La.

To complicate an already fragile state of co-existence, quite a few nemesis hunters have gained the trust of both factions. Both factions, while obliged to be cordial to their new saviours, are feeling uneasy with what is apparently the new status-quo. The Prince’s soldiers have worked to ensured that the Monastery is off-limits to all visitors to Shangri-La, but this hasn’t stopped the Steepers from finding detectives sympathetic to their cause and collaborating with them " and the Tigers know it.

With the haunting clickety-clack-clack of countless pairs of Polka Dot Pumps ringing in his ears, the Chief of the Tigers of Shangri-La resolves to destroy the Tea Steepers once and for all. The Tea Steepers, fully aware of the plans the Tigers have in store for them, put together a team of detectives to put their plan into action. The wise monks of Shangri-La (after a few brainstorming sessions with the Scholars of Shangri-La " because you can never escape the Scholars of Shangri-La) know that there is but one way to protect their campaign against what they believe to be the Prince’s oppressive rule. However, the Prince’s Chief of Security has managed to sneak a few trusted informers onto the team.

Will the Steepers succeed? Will their champions succumb to the scheming of the spies? Will we ever figure out what's going on with Rasputin’s Egg? How many Sparkly Vests are the Tigers slowly processing to create"? Whoa, I nearly gave the game away there. Anyway, let’s find out!

Thanks, y'all! I'm pleased to say I got the job, and got registered for my classes, so I'm doing some serious adulting these days. :)

Yeti, the allegiance may have been fake, but our friendship is real. ::) You can't quash my love for you! <3

Since I have OPINION MAKER, I don't see what I can learn from it. So I may as well go first and let someone else have the opportunity to learn something from it.

You're going to have to re-bud our friendship for me to believe anything you say ever again.

I don't have all the votes, but enough to know that the mission has been APPROVED.

Mission 5:

Boa in hand, the three detectives headed to the caves. Once they'd all decided on a team, the monks had given them a boa from their bottomless collection, much to everybody's confusion. Then they were told where to go, and what to do.

"Yup, there's the package nobody wants to deliver. We're here all right," said Yeti, as they wrinkled their noses. Riza stepped forward expectantly, holding out a sandwich. "There's something there," said Sal as he spied two amber eyes blinking at them out of the darkness.

As it trotted out, everybody beamed. It looked around at everybody again and bounded into Riza's coat pocket. Startled, Sal and Yeti moved towards Riza, but she shrugged and said, "It's fine, it happens every time. Just my Riqq this time anyway. It's always starving, you see."

"Why'd you bring a Riqq down here anyway?" Yeti said, as they all headed out. Sal got his map out, and they made their way back to the Lamasery.

"Detectives, you did it! Looking at it, it's hard to believe the Prince would kill it," said the boy monk, beaming.

"The Peacocks are the jealous type, though." The un-monk-like monk mused, adding “Violent too.”

"Thank you, detectives, you have done an admirable job! We'll be sure to relocate these little troublemakers, find a place that's safer for them. They're very sociable, living in seclusion like they were was probably very difficult for them," the younger monk continued.

"Wait a minute; before we go, could you tell us why we had to get all that stuff?" Yeti looked at the monks curiously.

"The items you bring us? Well, that's a story for another day," said the boy monk, smiling.

"I QUIT!" The flamboyant monk, who had been trying out the Boa, flung it to the ground. "Rasputin Eggs to save the world, you punks aren't half-crazy! And I thought London was bad," he harrumphed, turning on his heel.

As the three detectives turned to the boy monk, he sighed. "Don't ask. Well, thank you detectives, I certainly know who to call if we should require some hel - where are you going? Detectives?" he called out after the three rapidly retreating figures.

He grinned and let out a shrill whistle. A peacock strode out of the shadows. He climbed onto the huge bird's back and the two waddled away.

The Resistance chose well; the mission was a SUCCESS. The Resistance win!

Molly Maltese must have gone along with my perfectly formed plan purely so she could bitterly disappoint me.

Good game everyone. Thank you so much for hosting Bela, and I'm terribly sorry to: Devi for any taunts she may have been the butt of, Sal for calling all American beer watery when I know full well there's a solid craft beer movement, and Riza for even beginning to doubt her expertise on traitorous scum.

Good game, everyone! What a wonderful, paranoia-fueled experience. Haha.

And thanks to Bela for putting this all together! :D

Yes, much thanks to Bela. I had no clue how to play this game the last time, but I think I'm starting to understand. I had a great time. I used to be a beer drinker, Yeti, but not for the past few years. I was a vodka guy for a few years and the past couple I have gone to bourbon. When I did drink it though, I drank a single brewery local beer. Genesee Cream Ale. Around here they call it "Screamers". I'll leave it to your imagination as to why. Living so close to Canada, a country which truly takes it's beer seriously, I couldn't argue with that statement very much anyway. :)
No offense taken, I know you better than that. This time, I thought it I'd give some Resistance when appropriate. I am already looking forward to the next gathering. Well done, everyone.
