See if there is interest for this.

1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.
5. No cash involved. Just glory. :)

And we have a winner!!!! The answer to number 5 is right, but more commonly known as Plexiglass.

In Holland we call X-Rays actually Roentgen photo's. And I still could not think of the answer....then realizing "doh, named after the inventor." Now I am curious why Americans call it an X-ray.....Bryola????

On X-rays: Roentgen didn't know what was causing the phenomenom, so he used the term "x" as unknown, kind of like the way we use "x" in algebra to describe unknowns.

Ooh, look at the brain on Bryola. I vaguely remember the X-ray term, but certainly not well enough to just explain it off the top of my head. Impressive.

Bryola just for you, I will post another science one next week, just let me know between what hours you want it posted. I will make sure to make it extra extra tough. (And will give Moonshh....half of the answers.)

Thanks for explaining the X-ray to me. It makes full sense to me.
