See if there is interest for this.

1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.
5. No cash involved. Just glory. :)

3. Bang Bang You're Dead
4. In the Morning
5. Crazy

OK, I guess its time for the answers. I am surprised so many people were stumped actually, I thought it would be quite easy. Most of these songs are recent releases.

1. Big Yellow Taxi (Take your pick of artist, most people have sung it)
2. Fake Tales Of San Francisco by Arctic Monkeys (My theme song)
3. Bang Bang You're Dead by Dirty Pretty Things
4. In the Morning by The Coral
5. Crazy by Gnarls Barkley
6. Leave Before the Lights Come On by Arctic Monkeys
7. She Moves in Her Own Way by The Kooks
8. I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker by Sandi Thom
9. Valerie by The Zutons
10. Bright Idea by Orson

And the winner is... Cynderbear with 10/10, well done!

lol Bill... it's the Generation Gap vs UK 'anything' :D Lucky for me we get as much Brit music as US music. And i prefer UK music, though if you could find a way to put Atomic Kitten in front of a double-decker that'd be much appreciated!

For this quiz, simply name the film that matches the decription. Since all of you are such good detectives, you should notice something they all have in common. ;)

1. The story of a poor man in post-WWII Rome who pawns the family linen to get a needed tool for a job, only to find it missing on his first day at work.

2. Two orphans escape to Venice in order to elude the younger's oppressive guardians, only to find themselves caught up in mystery and magic.

3. Frank is an expert safecracker who takes on "one last job" for a big-time gangster.

4. A handsome soldier makes a play for the mother of a small child, asking her to pose as a family. Carrying stolen silverware, they roam from house to house, while the child watches ultimate tragedy unfold.

5. The rightful King of Bagdad has been blinded and cast into a dungeon where he meets Abu and together they escape.

6. The wife of a barbaric crime boss engages in a secretive romance with a gentle bookseller between meals at her husband's restaurant.

7. Aging gambler Bob Montagnet is about to gamble it all on the casino heist of a lifetime; a spectatcular sleight of hand--two heists, one real, one not, but which is which?

8. The story of a St. Bernard named Barabbas, who has been through 8 owners, until meets the helicopter pilot for a radio station whose traffic reporting puts people to sleep and together on the air they turn the sagging ratings around.

9. Stylish and romantic caper film about three street urchins who grow up together under the tutelage of a Fagin-like character who trains them for the Hong Kong syndicate.

10. Two of Hollywood's most glamorous stars, the luxury resorts of Europe, and one of the mystery genre's most celebrated directors combine in a sophisticated comedy about Lloyds of London's clever ploy to foil a jewel heist.
