Welcome to your new addiction. If you've given in and subbed your detective, it's likely that you're hooked, a junkie, and you don't even know it.

I know sometimes those of us who've been around awhile like to talk about old times, and how that can be intimidating. We certainly don't want to scare off any new gumshoes! We try to watch for anyone new in town, but sometimes it's difficult to tell who is new and who just built another alternate. If we miss you, just poke us! :)

I think you'll find that we're all ready and happy to make new friends!

Old detectives love themselves and each other so much, they don't need love letters.

And the good thing about old detectives is that they know stuff (some of us, some of the time) so if any ever needs any help, feel free to PM.

It can be very intimidating joining a new game/forum, but really the people on here are lovely. Don't feel intimdated about joining in threads or even starting your own, seriously, we get reaaaallly fed up of seeing each others ugly mugs plastered everywere :D

If you're unsure about getting involved make your way to bar chat and get to know the players better you'll soon feel at home :)

Last night I was in chat and it was like a big family reunion.

Meanwhile Riza Hawkeye (who I greatly admire) sat quietly in the corner playing her cases.

I've dabbled in Sleuth over the years and it made me realize whenever I've came back, she's been here. It really made me think. There are a few players like her, - Lady Jas and Secret Squirrell to mention a few, and I know there are more.

So, while we're all lovin', I'd like to mention the steady, consistent players who kept Seltuh alive.

People came and went and some people stayed.

And this is for those ones, the ones who stayed for longer.

Those people are the heart of Sleuth, the ones that kept it alive so it was here for people to come back to and for newbies to join.

So this is a shout out to all those players. Thank you.
