Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

Day 5 in Delhi

(albeit I arrived on the penultimate case of Day 1)

I really feel there is something amiss here.

To recap: the same 5 repeat clues, which are now -

Is a Man x 10
Not the Holy Man x 8
East of the Bank x 11
North of the Bank x 6
South of the Detective Shop x 6

Clearly it is either the Bartender or the Missionary. I would therefore need either another Not clue, or the East or West of the Chapel clue, to determine which. However, I feel that the fact I've been given the same 5 clues repeatedly - and for so long - indicates that the game database 'thinks' I should be able to work out who the villain is from these.

Thanks to Joey Bane for your feedback that 'Not the Holy Man' may mean it is the Missionary. I have mailed Secret Squirrel to check on this as you suggested.

Meanwhile, I have used up all the sunblock in town. Complexion frazzled in the scorching Delhi sun. And if I have to eat another curry I will turn into a popadom.

Ready to buy a train ticket to ..... anywhere!

I think it all started when Queen's Gambit set up shop in Delhi. We have put the squeeze on clues here.

But seriously. "Not the Holy Man" does NOT imply that it is the missionary. I have personally been in your predicament with that same "Not the Holy Man". It was not the missionary in my case. If you wait on SS, you will be stuck in Delhi for at least another 5 days.

Yup, Summer you are still looking for one more clue. You might need another NOT clue or you might need another E or W clue.

Uh-huh, just as I thought. You know, it might make a pleasant change to bet on this instead of the Shanghai races: exactly how many more cases/days will it take before I escape Delhi? Anyone want to open a sweepstake?

I played out my favor, to try and get the favor we need, only for someone else to get the favor we need. THEN after that favor was done, the favor I was currently holding ended up being what we needed next.

@ Peter. Hi there - because the clues so far could also point to the Bartender. I therefore need 'Not the Bartender' or 'Not the Missionary or 'East of the Chapel' to eliminate one or the other.

This is day 8 in Delhi. I'm losing the will to live ......

Summer, you could guess with a 50/50 chance, but you might ruin your perfect AVH record. Your waiting on one of those 3 clues is spot on correct.

The good news: You might set an AVH record for being stuck (legitimately) in a city the longest.

The bad news: One theory is you might have to wait for a prime number of days. Next is 11, 13, 17, 23, etc. Just kidding. ;)
