Waaaay before my time here, Serges hosted Sleuth March Madness in 2007. I thought it looked like a lot of fun, so... without further ado, The copy pasted rules from then with minor modifications! ;)

The premise is pretty simple. We compile a list of 64 of the game's most recognizable players, seed them into a tournament bracket, and allow Sleuthville to vote for the "best" in each matchup.

Rules for eligibility:
You are not allowed to nominate yourself.
You may nominate up to 3 persons.
The nominated must be over 30 days old by March 1, 2010, and active.

Entries and nominations should be messaged ASAP. As soon as we get 64, the seeding process will begin and the matchups will be posted.

After the initial bracket is filled, I will post a few matchups here every day. Then, the people involved in those matchups will have an opportunity to say "anything" on this thread that they feel will allow them to advance to the next round of competition. Sleuthville votes will be what decides the winners, and voting information will be coming soon.

The overall winner of this tournament will receive $100,000 sleuth cash.

We will start the voting on March 1st, so get your nominations in as quickly as possible! Please PM me the nominations, and I will be posting a list of who has been nominated, the brackets, and all that fun stuff as we go. :)

Keep your head up Kyle, you never know!

You should vote for me because I once saved the world from a huge, vicious, purple monster who planned to blow up the earth with its laser eyes by striking it with a slingshot while riding a camel. Ok, maybe that's not entirely true, but you should vote for me anyway. ;)

Wow so many tough choices for the first round hehe

I have to give a shout out to Elizabeth March. She doesn't post often on the boards but is such a genuinely nice person, who is a pleasure to talk to and would fully deserve to go further in this contest.

Also a shout out to Riza, a good friend who certainly knows how to turn a frown upside down. She has a great sense of humour and is a fantastic team player and writer.

How on earth can you piock between Jospeh Zeo and the Sleuth God? On the one hand JZ; a fantastic contributer to Sleuth providing great SMs to play, funny, friendly and a great team player. On the other hand Sleuth Admin who can refuse to ever provide us with new content again if he doesn't win ;) hehe

Oh and Elizabeth love you capign :D

Good Luck everyone!!

Come on kyle, don't give up that easily. You can count on my vote (wink). I think it's great that you're trying out the RP-stage and I'm sure we'll help you (the RP-ers amongst us).

Yours truly and good luck everyone for the coming hours!

Oh, Helen, you make me blush.
I do agree, though, really hard to vote.
I'll postpone that to the morning, with a clear mind.
Thank you all who vote for me/consider doing so.

Ddog has more experience than anyone else in the game. That is amazing.

Shady is... Shady is Shady. I think we all know him a bit more than we might like to sometimes, but he is a helpful fellow.

Harry Jones is a wonderful guy. I always enjoy conversing with him, and he has a very cute chipmunk that he hand feeds that lives by his house. I just thank that is awesome. ;)

Poirot's Protege' is a very nice lady and I wish I saw her around a bit more.

Elizabeth March has really added to the RP stage, and I enjoy her writing quite a bit. :)

Riza is awesome. I second what Helen said, and want to add she is a very understanding director. ;)

Kyle makes Bar an interesting place. :)

Freddie...errrr, Joey... *trails off at a glare from JZ* Joseph Zeo is a good friend and a wonderful writer. And the father of my daughter. But that is neither here nor there. ;)

Without Sleuth Admin, there would be none of this. None of us would be here. Thank you Ben. :D

Elizabeth Christie is a wonderful part of Vidocq (She's an officer now! Hooray!) and very nice, thoughtful, and funny.

Anais, what you do mean that i'm neither her nor there? I'm right here! *pointed assertively at... nothingness* And if Josee starts telling others that her father's name is Joey, or worst, Freddie (!!!), you are solely to be blamed!! :P

As for my campaign, how can i be compared with the almighty Big Ben? Without him none of us would be here! If i must campaign, i guess i could say that i post a wee bit more then Sleuth Admin? :P and i am sure ben won't kick us out if people vote for me *start handing masks out to his voters just in case*

Here are my votes:

Ddog - for showing me the ropes when i was still a rookie (sorry Shady, i would've voted for you if it was anyone else you're going up against)
Thomas Veil - because i know him :P

Elizabeth March - for being a lovely person and fellow agency member

Kyle XY Rocks - because he needed all the help he can muster, and he really want this, and he's got a freisty spirit (sorry Riza, i would've definitely voted for you if Kyle haven't PM me first, but i guess you're already a
very happy person winning the coin toss plus everything you already are. honestly you are a great and wonderful friend. promise i'll vote for you next time ;) )

no vote for Joseph Zeo Vs. Sleuth Admin just to make it fair

Here is my vote list, and I think my friends make a better campaign for me than I could ever do.
Would it be unfair if I offered a trip to Rio to whoever votes for me if I win? lol

Shady - Just because I had to pick one.
Harry Jones - Same here, since I know none
Poirot's Protege' (#4) Vs. Elizabeth March (#13) - I'll be silent on it.
Leola Luiza (#12) - Same, random choice.
Riza Hawkeye (#2) - Don't know her a lot, but she seems to be a good, helpful person (I owe this beautiful Midnight Sky to her good nature).
Joseph Zeo (#7) - It's a no brainer. My dear, beloved friend, who keeps using my apartment as a storage place. lol
Sir William Weine (#14) - He seems to be a really nice guy, and his participation on the games always make me laugh.
Elizabeth Christie (#11) - It's nice to have another Elizabeth in this competition.

I know, I should have said a lot more, but I hope I've made myself somewhat clear. I just hope.
