Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.
Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

No Orbitrux the answer to the third riddle isn't socks. Not even close.
Is the other riddle too hard?
No guesses?
Oh well,

for you
My day job is relevant to completing the sequence. (I've mentioned it on the boards a time or two)

I've checked the boards, MarcusAndrew- I am shocked that you didn't spot the sequence instantly.

HAHA! I have it! the missing letters are V and CU! Am I right!? It was the use of capitals that confused me! :D But I'm gonna leave the reason for someone else! See if anyone else knows! :D YAY! Just to save you having to scroll back a page, the sequence was:
SCTI_CRMNFECONI__
I gotta say Lady Grey, I didnt know what your job was! :D

Well I did post my job under my doubles name.
Well done both of you. V and CU. The reason is: that they are the chemical symbols for the two missing elements, Vanadium and Copper, from the first transition series of the periodic table.
