Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.
Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

This is more of a situational question than a riddle, but here goes anyway:
You are driving in your brand new car.As rain started to fall, you came to a bus stop. You see three people there:
1)An old lady who is suffering from a heart attack
2)A friend who had once saved your life(literaly,of course)
3)The manwoman of your dreams
Considering that your car can only take one driver and one passager, what will you do?
I saw it in the Reader's Digest, and I altered it a little. There are lots of answer, but the one I have is probably the best.My respect to anyone with a even better solution.

You loan your friend your car to take the old lady to hospital and snuggle up under an umbrella with your dream date.

Genius! Lady Grey is a lady killer!...um.. not the the sleuth way either...and I guess it would actually be a man killer...
Nevermind.
I thought this one was kind of good:
How can two people step on one piece of paper so that they can not touch each other without stepping off the paper?

Here's one for you P. Rockwell How do you push a quarter through a ring that's worn on your finger.
Note: The ring is very small in size.
