Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.
Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

Hi guys
I only get on about once a week as I have a really iffy internet connection. A penguin is right though. Well done!

yet another bump for Det. Abby. Riddles aplenty up in hurrr...
and for the record, I still don't see what's so penguiny about not liking oil. Unless this is some kind of viral marketing scheme for a black and white clearasil commercial that I haven't seen yet. In which case, I *looks over shoulder* totally get it. Totally.
*awkward stage laugh*

A play on words riddle:
Divide me into two sounds.
You’ll hear you have all you require.
My second sound is a terrible thing â€"
Your deepest, darkest desire.
My first is a simple process,
By which you increase your fame.
Or indeed your fortune:
Mathematics makes both the same.
My whole in its worthiest form
Is a thing star-crossed lovers would need.
Not love, but something much better.
My words wise beginners should heed.
What is the word?

Riddles are Hard! Unless I Know Them. XP
Well anyways, here's one. I don't know if it's easy or not.
There was a man that was locked inside a cell in jail. He managed to get out of jail . Everyone who worked for the jail knew about it, yet they didn't do anything about it. Why is that?
