On favours

I'd like to throw out an alert to all newbies:

I just unlocked (as I thought) a favour in New York (the Priest told me the Butcher had work for me), but since I was planning to go to Delhi I figured logically that I'd have a favour available there too since after all I had solved my cases like a good boy to get my favour. So I traveled to Delhi. No favour. "Damn" I thought. "I must go back to New York to solve the favour there obviously". So I went back to NY. No favour. Waste of 8000 (so don't you whine about the 500 Larry wants for showing you Big Lucy's) and eight turns.

Good warning for the new travelers, Ency. When you leave a city, the favour you have on hold (if any) will be forfeited and you will have to start anew, doing the three cases to get your next favourl

However, i did hear of an exception. If you have done two cases in one city, and travel to a new one, then you don't have to do three, but just two to get to your next favour in that new city. I am not 100% sure because i lost count myself. Older players might like to verify this. This may come in handy if you're on a multi-city TH.

Yeah no. You have to do FOUR new cases once you forfeit your available favour by traveling. Not three.

Yes, not playing a favor before traveling is the same as an unsuccessfuly favor, you will need four instead of the normal three. that beigng said. If you were to do the favor, sovle 2 more cases and then travel, you will only need one more case done in the destinaation city to get the next favor.
