Hi all -- Breit is recovering from her to-do this summer and my mother is gearing up for a round of radiation therapy, so I'm really trying to bring some cheer to our holidays. I'm doing everything I can think of, including Dungeness crab and Canasta for Christmas Eve and a movie night this weekend. But my question to you all is, What are some of your holiday traditions? And yes I don't care which holiday you celebrate, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas or none of these; I just want to see if I can find some ideas and have a laugh at the same time. So Happy Holidays and let fly all!!!

: ) Not really a tradition....although Im the same way every NYE *grin* This year staying home, with snacks, and some wine...which, by the time midnight rolls around, I will yell in a heavy slur, as I do every year..HAPPY NEW YEAR,then cheer, and holler, for no other reason than I'm just a little too inebriated.... then, stay up half the night partying and acting stupid *grin* but atleast Im in my own home LOL :) Nothing special ,just fun lol......BUT some time in the future for NYE, I want to go to NY, and watch the ball drop in person!! That would be so much fun!! :o)
Have a very happy, and safe new year everyone!!! :o)))

Well, hello all. My cousin did not hurt himself for Christmas, but he had by New Years Eve. ;p
Sadly, my aunt couldn't come up. But I just had dinner with 2 aunts, 4 cousins under 5, an uncle, and my folks and lil sis. CRAZY!!!

How'd the no-rules baseball game go with the 5 year olds? Ours would've been even better with someone on crutches. (By the way, the only way to get someone out in no-rules baseball is to catch and pick up the batter--that way even 5 year olds know they've been tagged out and the rest of the team wears itself out more. Makes for a MUCH quieter meal afterward. But yes, CRAZY in capital letters! Happy New Year, Sara Lou!!! :-D Not Breit
