Ok. Since someone has to get the ball rolling on this debate topic thing and since I am (sort of) a newbie, I'll throw something out.
Which is the better/easier/more productive personality characteristic to choose when playing/starting out in/hunting (treasures or villains) this game -- Charming or Tough?
Yes I know. It's a pedestrian or pediatric question. Ok downright juvenile. But you all wanted a question topic and now you have one.
By the way, I've noticed that many veteran players have one character of each type, so I would think their answers or contributions might be especially interesting, if only to us newbies.
Have fun throwing that one around and if you all come up with a better topic, GREAT! MARVELOUS! USE IT!!!

We could also discuss the Hostage Negotiatian/Trap Detection debate. There's no doubt that Trap Detection has received a distinct advantage as of late, and many people with Hostage Negotiation are not happy. What should happen?

Ben and me did discuss that briefly on the debut broadcast, but it can opened back up.

Another hot button issue: Powerleveling newbies. Many people say that it takes the fun out of the game to recruit a newbie into the agency, give him or her equipment he or she would never be able to afford, and offer up freebie solved cases to improve his or her stats in a relatively short span of time. Other say that this is a basic part of the game and is an effective strategy to building a strong agency.

I somehow have a feeling that the question of powering up someone, whether it be newbies or not is quite a hot topic. ;-)
Since daily cases are a restricted resource, would it be right to subscribe 2 or more detectives, and put all into one agency, and use the case files to power one of the agents?
Would it be ok if you are the owner of all the agents included?
Would it be ok if you are not the owner of all the agents included?
What about people who are rarely playing? If that one was me, I would think of it as a service done to me, if someone used my character to give cases to others, because that will make me grow, as well as someone gets the benefit of the work they do. The alternative would be that my cases were not played, and not even I would have any pleasure out of that.
Also, I have heard that it's expected that you do travel when you are subscribed. I don't really understand that. What if I am not really keen on travelling?

I think a great topic would be on what the ideal gift would be to give me when I hit 10,000,000 points. I would like to say that the the gift I got when I hit 5,000,000 was a gift wrapped box of doo so that gift should not be repeated ;) Another topic would be pants for men...I mean what the heck! I have no pants on right now...I feel like a darn flasher wearing a long trench coat! Am I supposed to be Donald Duck or something?? Another topic could be whether or not the Fortune Teller in New York is Burt Reynolds or not. My money is on that it is! HMM, last stopic suggestion could be on sponge bath Wednesdays for the directors...why do I have to do this for Ctown every week! He says it is something every Director is entitled to but I'm not buying it anymore.

Kopper, you just take things the wrong way, it is an attempt to get the LADIES in the agency to give the spongebaths. I know you enjoy them but c'mon give somebody else a chance!

Has a decision been reached as to which topic is going to be aired for debate on this weekend's broadcast? To recap from above, as I have read, the suggestions are:
-- Tough vs. Charming
-- Hostage Negotiation vs. Trap Detection
-- Powerleveling Newbies vs. Own Drive and Effort
as a consolation prize, we could have each side afterward debate whether to teach Ctown the secret handshake. (sorry there, Ctown, couldn't resist).
Ok, powers that be, tell us what we're doing so we all have time to prepare our BEST arguments (except for the handshake thing--we'll need a simple vote for that one).

Why not all 3? ;-)
I will talk about anything anybody wants to call in about, but remember kids, it's a family show so keep it clean! ;-)
